This tutorial is my own creation and any resemblance to any other tutorial,
is purely coincidental.
Please do not copy and use as your own work if you wish to translate please email me
It’s assumed that you have working knowledge on how to use filters/plugins.
This tutorial is written using PSP 9 but it can also be done in other versions
Animation Shop, I will ref: to this as A.S
Tube of choice- I am using the work of Beatriz Gonzalez you can get her lovely work here http://www.beagonzalez.com
A winter scene background of choice, sorry I can not share
A Snow animation again can not share, but there are loads out there
Drop Shadow I used was H & V 4 Opacity 40 Blur 5
Font of choice I used White Christmas
Lets begin, this is a nice and quick one to make
Remember to save often
Step 1.
Open up your winter background,
new image 600 x 300, select all, copy and paste your background
into section, select none, name this background
Step 2
Copy and paste your tube and position her on the right hand side,
re-size if it needs it, I re-sized mine by70% as it was large,
and then Adjust Sharpen, give your tube a drop shadow
Shift D this is for your AV, put this image to one side
Step 3
New raster layer, fill with a colour that will go with your tube,
I used #4267ae, Select All, Modify Contact by 8, hit delete and select none,
give this a drop shadow, repeat the drop shadow but do -4 on H & V,
add your name and copyright, close all layers off apart from your background layer
Step 4
Open up A.S and find the animation you are going to use,
back in P.S.P copy your background layer and take it over to A.S,
paste as new image, now make the same number of frames as your animation has,
mine had 10, ** then Edit Select All, Propagate, do the same with your animation,
and paste this into your new image,
back to PSP, close the background layer off,
and open the layers that were closed, and repeat from **
I left my animation at 10 when happy save as GIF.
Step 5
Open up the image you put to one side, and crop this one 150 X 150,
using the part of image you want, repeat Steps 3 and 4
PLEASE remember if you use any part of your tube to add your copywrite
Hope you enjoy my tutorial, and problems please feel free to email me at [email protected]
Please remember this is just a guide,
I would love to see any work you have made using my tutorials
And with your permission show them on my site
