This tutorial is written using PSP 9 but it can also be done in other versions
Animation Shop I will ref: to this as AS
Scrap Kit of choice I used one by BlueCat called Ecarlate
Tube of choice- I used Jamie Kidd I brought mine when she was at CLIM,
her work is now available at CDO here http://cdoestore.com/
Drop Shadow I used was H & V 5Opacity 40 Blur 5
Font of choice I used Arabella
Lets begin
Remember to save often
Step 1.
I image 600 x 300 fill with a light colour or white I used #fcefe8,
find the frame you are going to use, I used frame mask copy,
Image free rotate right 90, new layer select all,
and copy your frame into section select none
Step 2
Copy and paste your tube, place on the right hand side,
re-size if it needs it, please remember if you re-size to, Adjust, Sharpen,
give it a drop shadow, duplicate and mirror, move the duplicate under your frame,
and apply Luminance (L)
Step 3
Active your background layer, find the element Road, resize, copy and paste,
above the background layer, give it a drop shadow.
Step 4
Active your top layer, open up your preset tool and find the perset guitar
and make one using foreground black and background red,
I then clicked in the middle if it and filled it with silver,
make it the size you feel looks right
Shift and D this is for your AV, put to one side for now
Step 4
Add your name and a saying, give your name,
and saying the same drop shadow as your tube, save as jpg
Step 5
Open up the image you put to one side, crop 150 X 150 using the part of your image, you want to use.
Please remember if you use any part of your tube add the copyright
Hope you enjoy my tutorial, any problems, please feel free to email me at [email protected]
Please remember this is just a guide.
I would love to see any work you have made using my tutorials
And with your permission show them on my site
