This tutorial is written using PSP 16 but it can also be done in other versions
Animation Shop I will ref: to this as AS
Filters MuRa's Meister Cloud
Tube of choice- I used Verymany.
You can get their great work here http://verymanytubes.com/
Animation of choice
Drop Shadow I used was H & V 5Opacity 40 Blur 5
Font of choice I used Angel Tears
Lets begin
Remember to save often
Step 1.
New transparent image 600 x 300 apply MuRa's Meister Cloud,
use two shades of Blue, name this back ground new raster layer,
open up your Picture tube tool and find your cloud,
apply the cloud three times at top of your image,
you want it to cover the image at the top, name this cloud, see my tag for ref:,
give your cloud layer a drop shadow, close the cloud layer off.
Step 2
Copy and paste your tube, place on the right hand side,
re-size if it needs it, please remember if you re-size to, Adjust,
Sharpen, give it a drop shadow, close it off.
Step 3
Add your copyright, name and a saying,
give your name and saying a drop shadow close these three layers off
Shift and D this is for your AV, put to one side for now
Step 4
Copy the background layer and take over to AS,
paste as a new image, find the animation, or animation's you are going to use,
both the ones I used had three frames, make the same of frames as your animation's,
I first made three frames of the rain I used by, Edit Select All, then resized it by 130% then Edit Select all,
and copied as a new image twice giving me three animations in all.
Edit Select all, and copied as a new image, this gave me two frames one I again resized by 130%.
Step 5
Working on your own new image, Edit Select All, Propagate, do the same with your rain animation,
and place it where you feel it looks best, I put mine on left and side next one in the middle of tag,
the third one on right hand side. Now do the same with your puddles,
I put the big one low down on left side and the other one, in the middle of image but higher,
this made it look as if it was further away.
Step 6
Back to PSP close the back ground layer and open the rest up,
copy merge, and take to AS, make three frames, active the image you have made.
and Edit Select All, Propagate, do the same with the the image you have just taken over,
Edit Select All, Frame properties and set the frames to 30. save as a G.I.F.
Step 7
Open up the image you put to one side, crop 150 X 150 using the part of your image,
you want to use, please remember if you use any part of your tube add the copyright.
Hope you enjoy my tutorial.
Any problems please feel free to email me at [email protected]
Please remember this is just a guide.
